One sport, one community
Ski de fond Québec is much more than a federation, it’s a community that brings together cross-country ski enthusiasts from all horizons to share the pleasures of skiing, the outdoors and long Quebec winters. Recognized by the Ministry of Education, our sports, leisure and outdoor organization works for the well-being of all its members, in keeping with the values of inclusiveness and self-fulfillment. Whether you practice cross-country skiing recreationally, as part of a group, a Sport-études program or at a high level, you are part of a family united by our joie de vivre and a passion for sport.

Ski de fond Québec celebrates inclusivity by opening our trails to all skiers, regardless of their level or background. We are committed to sharing and integrating the strengths and qualities of others in order to build a generous and plural society.
We believe in the importance of unfailing integrity, guiding our every action with transparency and accountability to our community. We have a duty to protect our members by providing a safe, fair and trustworthy environment. We promote respect and do not tolerate any form of abuse, harassment, neglect or violence.
Driven by a passion for excellence, we encourage every cross-country skier to chart their own course, to surpass themselves and to find in skiing a source of personal fulfillment and pride. Sporting excellence is not just about medals. Every achievement, whether victory or defeat, is a learning opportunity. The credit for success belongs to the individual, the support staff and all those involved.
Ski de fond Québec is also committed to the best standards and practices in governance, safety and professional commitment, based on clear and sustainable objectives and policies. We make accountability a core value, ensuring that we are responsible for our actions and results. We innovate, strive for excellence and aim to inspire by example. Our actions are based on the principle of subsidiarity, respecting the competencies of our affiliated organizations as well as those of the Canadian federation, Nordiq Canada.
We are committed to our community through active collaborative leadership and an inclusive, participatory approach. We make it a point of honor to promote the safe, supervised practice of cross-country skiing, while promoting the sport as an active, sustainable way of life. Through our initiatives, we support the development of sporting pathways, guiding each individual in achieving goals and even excellence, while promoting well-being and self-respect.
